Mustang Dads
Mustang Dad’s Corner
We were so glad to see so many new faces at Hayes Elementary’s DONUTS for DAD the other
day. It was a pleasure to meet with many of you.
The school has asked us to see what we can do to increase the participation of our Hayes Dad’s.  We have come up with a new program that we are excited about,  called Mustang Dads and we would like for you to consider becoming a volunteer.
During the Donuts For Dad, we shared some information with you that we thought was very shocking. Across this country, in many schools, over 30% of the students do not have a male role model in their lives.
Mustang Dad’s will be held every Monday  We would like for individuals to serve in the following areas:
*Car Pool
*Bus Port
*Front Entrance
*Hall Monitor
*Cafeteria Monitor
You may ask yourself,  How can my presence there make a difference? You can make a difference!   Opening a car door in the morning and just saying hello with a smile on your face, or being in the hallway of the school to help our children get settled into the school day..
We also need help at numerous events to set up and tear down.  Our next two big events are International Day  November 7th and Holiday Breakfast December 5th.
As a child you may remember a teacher, an administrator or a bus driver that had an impact on your life, this is your chance to be a light in a child’s life.
If you have any questions or you would like to volunteer, please feel free to contact either myself, Bill Farmer or Marc Davenport for additional information.
