TEACHERS, STUDENTS & PARENTS

REFLECTIONS is a nationally sponsored PTSA arts program designed to encourage the creativity in each child.  Students are encouraged to enter in as many categories as they like.  The categories are VISUAL ARTS, PHOTOGRAPHY, LITERATURE, MUSIC, FIL/VIDEO PRODUCTION, AND DANCE/CHOREOGRAPHY.

In an effort to conserve paper this year, Reflections Contest rules packets and entry forms will not be distributed to every student.  Instead, they will be available in the Media Center to those who want them.  Please feel free to come in a pick up as many as you need.  (Special education ad Spanish entry forms for those who need them are also available in the media center.)

Teachers, please do this as a class activity.  Parents, please encourage your child to enter on his/her own.  Each child that enters will receive a t-shirt and be invited to the awards ceremony in November .  You can enter as many times as you like and the theme this year is really easy…. “Together We Can…”  .  Students must do all their own work and the rules for each category must be followed and the entry form must be signed by a parent to move on the council level.

The first class with 100% participation will receive a gift certificate to use in their classroom and each class with 100% participation will receive a special treat and be entered into a drawing for big prize $$.  Ribbons are awarded to all participants and the top two winners in each category will receive medals.
