PTSA is a national organization of parents, teachers, and others who support education. When you join PTSA, you become part of that network that says we value education for all students. PTSA has lobbyists in Washington supporting legislation that supports our schools. At the school level, joining PTSA allows you to vote on decisions about how funds are raised and spent at our school. Although many of our fundraisers & events involve the need for volunteers to help them run smoothly, being a member of the PTSA does not need to be a time consuming chore. We welcome all that want to be involved, whether it is sharing your input & ideas at a meeting, volunteering to do work at home, baking goodies for an event, shopping on your own time schedule, or signing up to work for just an hour at one of our events. By becoming a member of PTSA you have the opportunity to work with your child’s teachers and principal as well as other parents just like you, and experience the positive impact that you can have on your child’s education and our school.
